PROBLEM:
The City of Orlando was dealing with aging frames and covers on approximately 21 manhole structures. This led to issues with the structures leaking, creating additional water that had to be treated, which was driving up costs.
SOLUTION:
Engineered Spray Solutions prepared each structure for ring and cover replacements, systematically working in various neighborhoods. The crew successfully installed the new ring and covers and performed a seal application around the ring section. In addition, the asphalt around each manhole was replaced providing a smooth finish around the structure.
RESULT:
The leaks in each structure were fixed with the ring and cover replacements saving the asset owner additional operational costs.
